A man who spent three years in prison for his role in a fatal 2008 Valentine’s Day stabbing is back in jail facing murder charges after investigators say he ended a fight by killing a man with a bullet through a man’s eye as he lay sprawled on a barroom floor.
The patrons at the Brian Borus Irish and Sports Bar in suburban Lake Worth thought they put an end to the fight when they dragged a man later identified as Demetrius Hopkins into the parking lot.
