On Sunday, the hottest recorded spot in the country was Palm Beach International Airport, which reached a high temperature of 88. It was exactly 100 degrees warmer than the coldest spot, Yellowstone National Park, which recorded a low of 12 below.
In case you didn’t notice, for the second straight year, South Florida had a warmer and drier winter than normal, the National Weather Service said Friday in a season summary.
