Where are you going to college?
“Duke University. I absolutely fell in love with the university. The opportunities there are amazing. I can’t imagine going anywhere else.”
What is your planned field of study?
“Neuroscience, with a minor in public policy. I plan to go to medical school after Duke. I’m studying public policy because I want to help people and to help them through the government you need to understand how a government works.”
What is planned career path?
“I like research but I’m torn between cardiology and neurology. I want to try everything, because you never know what’s going to capture your interest.”
What advice would you give a student just starting high school?
“Keep your head down and always stayed focused on what you need to get done. Don’t obsess about school, and take time to relax and unwind.”
