A World War II veteran awarded the French Legion of Honor, Samuel Graber died last week after 35 years in the U.S. Postal Service and 36 years of active retirement on the Treasure Coast and in Delray Beach. He was 97.
Graber, who is survived by his wife of 66 years, Maxine, was an artist at heart. His work can be seen in murals at the Jensen Beach Library’s children’s room and a self-published children’s book with Sandra Hedenberg called “The Adventures of Sammy the Frog.”
