What are your hobbies?
Building LEGOs, playing a game called “Minecraft,” playing with my little brother, running, cycling, going to the velodrome and of course triathlons.
What has being an athlete taught you?
I have better grades in school because I have to get my homework done fast and well so I can practice. I also eat a lot better now.
Who is someone you admire?
Craig Alexander who made history in 2011 by winning both the Half Ironman and Ironman World Championship in the same year. He set a new world record by becoming a 3x Hawaiian Ironman Champion.
What would you say to inspire other kids?
I’d tell them if they work hard at something they love, it pays off. The feeling of finishing a triathlon is a great one, even if you don’t win. Also, it’s a great way of keeping physically fit.
