From a distance, Nautica Lakes looks like a pristine gated community, one of many that line the roads of this family-friendly village, dubbed the Mayberry of Palm Beach County by one local official.
But some residents who live there tell a different story, saying the Mediterranean-style development, built in 2006, has changed, with an increase in rowdy teenagers, burglaries and drug activity.
