For the past several general elections, the village has had televised debates, forums that allowed candidates to discuss the issues while giving voters a chance to see their political contenders in action.
That didn’t happen, however, in the March election. The issue of who’ll take the lead in organizing them will arise at Thursday’s Village Council meeting.
