Residents of the Bent Tree neighborhood south of the proposed spring training baseball stadium are gathering signatures to oppose the $100 million complex that they fear would bring unwanted noise, traffic and people into their relatively quiet neighborhood.
Bent Tree resident Kathy Sorkin has been going door-to-door this week gathering signatures from neighbors opposed to the stadium, while fellow Bent Tree resident Kim Workman is collecting comments from stadium opponents on Change.org.
