Registration has opened for spring break camps.
The city’s camp for children ages 5-12 runs 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., March 25-29, at both the Art Center, 125 S.E. 2 Ave., and the Hester Center, 1901 N. Seacrest Blvd. Activities include field trips, arts & crafts and games. The fee is $125 for residents and $157 for nonresidents.
The basketball camp, for children 8 to 12, will be 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. March 25-29 at the Carolyn Sims Center, 225 N.W. 12th Ave. The fee is $90 for residents and $113 for nonresidents.
A Surf and Ocean Safety Camp for children 6 and older will be 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 25-29 at Oceanfront Park, 6415 N. Ocean Blvd. All necessary equipment is included. The fee is $200 for residents and $250 for nonresidents.
The Junior Lifeguard Aquatic Camp, for children 10 to 15, will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 26-29 at the John Denson Pool, at Wilson Park, 225 N.W. 12th Ave. Participants will receive a junior lifeguard T-shirt and a completion certificate. The fee is $50 for residents and $62 for nonresidents.
