A 24-year-old South Bay man is being held in the county jail without bond after authorities say he climbed into a neighbor’s window, held her at gunpoint and then stole her purse and items from her car.
Investigators believe Marshay Rainey broke into the woman’s apartment in the 200 block of SW 10th Avenue on Sept. 29 as she was sleeping. Her toddler son was asleep in the room, when the burglar woke her and demanded money, threatened to shoot her and then ordered her to take off her shirt.
