Six months ago, Palm Beach State College received the last major land approvals it needed from the town council to enter into a contract to begin building its long-discussed — and controversial — campus on 75 acres on the northwest corner of B Road and Southern Boulevard.
The approvals were supposed to be the final hurdles in the college’s five-year odyssey to build a campus — its fifth — that would be more accessible to western Palm Beach County residents.
