Using dismantled mountain bikes and lightweight electrical conduits as key components, students at Jupiter High School designed, built and raced two moonbuggies at last month’s 20th NASA Great Moonbuggy Race in Huntsville, Ala.
The event, which was held April 26-27 at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, drew 89 teams from the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, India, Germany, Mexico and Russia.
