Mayor Jeri Muoio said Wednesday she’ll propose that West Palm Beach’s tax rate stay unchanged at $8.55 per $1,000 of a home’s taxable value and will support keeping the city’s fire assessment fee at its current $25 per home.
Muoio said the city has whittled its budget gap from $8.5 million to $2.5 million, and she proposes making up the rest of the difference by dipping into reserves for a second year in a row.
