The town and Palm Beach County have a pending agreement on a conflict that could have delayed the 20-month project to build the $32 million Ocean Avenue bridge.
The two sides met Thursday and Lantana agreed to pay. Town Manager Debra Manzo said Friday the dollar amount, originally “ballparked” at $75,000, came down to $64,000, and now is closer to $50,000. The town council still must ratify the deal at its Feb. 25 meeting.
