City commissioners addressed frustration with the parking meters at Lake Worth Beach Tuesday by approving a three-year contract with a company that will allow users to pay for parking with their cellphones.
Residents and visitors have complained about the five-step process required to pay the $2-an-hour parking fee at the beach. Currently, payment must be made using a credit card or coins, and those paying by credit card must pay a minimum of $4.
