City commissioners agreed Tuesday to charge up to $200 an hour for use of the 3,000-square-foot ballroom in the casino building at Lake Worth Beach and agreed to other fees for leasing parts of the oceanfront building.
Lease rates for the second-floor casino ballroom are $160 an hour, with a two-hour minimum, on weekdays (Sunday through Thursday). The weekday rates are $20 an hour lower for city residents and nonprofit organizations.

Fees for leasing the ballroom in the Lake Worth casino building
Weekdays (Sunday through Thursday): $160 an hour (two-hour minimum); nonprofit/resident rate: $140 an hour. Day rate: $1,750. Nonprofit/ resident day rate: $1,450.
Weekends (Fridays, Saturdays, holidays): $200 an hour (two-hour minimum); Day rate: $2,200. (No discount on weekends or holidays for nonprofits or city residents.)
Off-peak months (Aug. 1 through Oct. 15): $100 an hour (two-hour minimum); nonprofit/resident rate: $80 an hour. Day rate: $1,100. Nonprofit/resident day rate: $880.
