City commissioners Tuesday approved the 216-unit Village at Lake Worth apartment complex at the northwest corner of Lake Worth and Boutwell roads.
The apartment complex was approved in a 4-1 vote. Commissioner Christopher McVoy opposed the complex, noting that the commission has long emphasized the need for more home ownership and fewer rentals in the city.
