Former mayoral candidate Piotr Blass’ lawsuit, claiming he was improperly disqualified, has been dismissed.
City Clerk Janet Prainito said at the time that Blass was disqualified because the noon deadline is not negotiable and Blass came at 1:30 p.m. And county Supervisor of Elections Susan Bucher said her office could not verify that, of the people signing his petition, the required minimum of 25 were qualified city voters.
