The lawyer for former Boynton Beach Mayor José Rodriguez has requested a plea conference for this morning, according to a court document — an indication that Rodriguez plans to change his “not guilty” plea in both criminal cases against him.
Rodriguez’ attorney, Jason Weiss, filed a notice Thursday requesting a plea hearing in both cases. It’s set for 8:30 a.m. The notice does not indicate whether Rodriguez wants to change his plea on one of the charges or both.
