In an effort to recognize the dangers of prolonged sun exposure among its workers, El Sol Neighborhood Resource Center will launch its first Sun Safe program this morning.
El Sol workers, many of whom spend 8-to-10 hours a day outdoors and are at an increased risk of dehydration, heat stroke and other sun-related illnesses, will take part in a presentation designed to teach sun safety.
