Now that the town has jurisdiction over a mile-long stretch of A1A north of Jupiter Beach Road, redevelopment of the town’s “funky fishing village” should be more efficient, say town officials.
The Palm Beach County Commission this week granted the town’s request to maintain the one-mile stretch from Jupiter Beach Road to U.S. 1. Plugging potholes, repaving and re-striping are no longer the job of the county. Those tasks are now up to the town.
