A controversial plan to build a 10,000-square-foot day-care center and preschool on the west side of South Jog Road that has some neighbors concerned about traffic is scheduled to go before the City Council for approval Monday.
The council was expected to vote on the project at the Sept. 16 meeting, but opted to have a fourth traffic study done after Sandi Almond, co-owner of Bright Beginnings of Lake Worth, challenged the city’s past studies and questioned whether the area could handle additional cars from another day-care center.
