The village has refused to pay more than $2.7 million it owes West Construction, the Lake Worth general contractor the town hired to build Commons Park, according to a lawsuit filed this month by the contractor’s attorney.
In court documents filed Oct. 2 in Palm Beach County Circuit Court, West Construction alleges the village has breached its contract multiple times and that the project was plagued by “gaffes” and “errors” by the village, all of which caused numerous delays.
