For one day each year, Cultural Diversity Day turns Veterans Park into a colorful outdoors United Nations, one that’s teeming with sights, sounds and smells from a variety of ethnic backgrounds that span the globe.
On Saturday, the village, in partnership with the Caribbean-American for Community Involvement, a nonprofit that promotes Caribbean-American culture, will host the 10th annual Cultural Diversity Day, an event that celebrates diverse cultures by showcasing food, fashion, entertainment and arts.
