BOYNTON BEACH — Commissioners split the difference Tuesday, giving City Manager Lori LaVerriere a raise from $140,000 to $165,000, not the $170,000 she’d requested.
The vote was 4-1; Steven Holzman, a longtime critic of LaVerriere who earlier called her request “appalling” and has noted that most city employees have not received a raise in four years.was the lone “no” vote.
