As the July 15 deadline looms for Metro Mobility to resolve its problems with Palm Tran Connection or lose its $90 million five-year contract, Palm Beach County Commissioner Shelley Vana has been monitoring the transit system in Augusta, Ga.
Both Metro Mobility and Mobility Transit, the company that runs Augusta’s bus system, are run by the same man, Cullan Meathe. For a time, both companies listed their headquarters at the same West Palm Beach address.
