Airplanes and helicopters would buzz over the 7,600-home Avenir development if it is built as proposed on the former Vavrus Ranch property on the north side of Northlake Boulevard, a recent letter from the director of Palm Beach County’s Department of Airports says.
Radar data show there were 73,650 takeoffs and landings last year at the North Palm Beach County General Aviation Airport off Beeline Highway, which is just east of the land where the mixed-use Avenir development is being proposed.
