Houston Astros owner Jim Crane is optimistic that an agreement to move the team’s spring training operations to Palm Beach Gardens will be reached by the end of the month.
But city officials have a more cautious outlook, saying lots of work needs to be done — including seeking input from the public — before they’ll be ready to welcome the Astros and Toronto Blue Jays to a shared baseball stadium off Central Boulevard.
