Palm Beach County Administrator Bob Weisman, prodded by a longtime rival of Commissioner Jess Santamaria, is looking into whether the participation of candidates at one of Santamaria’s county-sponsored forums last year crossed a line that prohibits mixing politics with county operations.
County rules bar employees from engaging in political activities while on duty. They also prevent county equipment and money from being used for political purposes.
