Palm Beach County won’t set aside any money over the next five years to pave Frontier Avenue, also known as Lyons Road, in the Palm Beach Ranchettes neighborhood just south of Wellington, county commissioners agreed Tuesday.
But County Engineer George Webb said he plans to meet with commissioners early next year to determine whether Frontier, which is now shell rock in the neighborhood, should ever be paved and connected to the Lyons Road that is a major north-south thoroughfare in the western part of the county.
