Investment by home buyers and business owners is needed to remedy many of Lake Worth’s problems, including depressed property values, a high rate of poverty and underperforming schools, Mayor Pam Triolo said Monday night in a state-of-the-city address.
“Our residents need jobs from entry-level to management,” Triolo told a crowd of about 60 people in the second-floor ballroom of the new casino building at Lake Worth Beach.
