Hoping to buy time to address traffic concerns, the city council voted Monday to put on hold plans to build a 10,000-square-foot day care center and preschool.
By a 4-1 vote, the council opted to have a fourth traffic study done after Sandi Almond, owner of Bright Beginnings of Lake Worth, challenged the previous traffic studies and questioned whether the area could handle an influx of additional cars from another day care center.
