Commissioners on Tuesday decided now is not the best time for the city to spend additional money to maintain Boynton Beach Oceanfront Park and add hours beachgoers must pay to park at the city’s signature beach.
Commissioners reviewed a presentation by the city’s Recreation and Parks Department and determined adding hours to the fee schedule and allocating additional funds for weeding and pressure cleaning would have a “negative impact” on the city’s bottom line.
