A rash of six school bus-related crashes since late February has Palm Beach County schools and law enforcement officials wondering what they can do to keep children onboard safe from drivers on the road.
“There are so many people out there on the road driving distracted and in a hurry,” said school district Senior Transportation Coordinator Sue Gorby. “People are not being mindful of their following distance, and there are a lot of aggressive drivers in Palm Beach County.”
