SOUTH TECH ACADEMY
Two groups of students from the school’s Recording Arts Academy were winners in a contest sponsored by the Florida Bar and its Law Related Education Committee. Students were challenged to create a short video from topics covered in the Legal Guide for New Adults to promote interest in the law and its traditions through research, participation and ingenuity. One group won the $500 grand prize for creating a rap song and video that covered all the topics contained in the guide. The second group won third prize for a video about a magical lawyer who appears whenever a teen has a question about the law.
