Seminole Ridge High has cut its out-of-school suspensions days by nearly 40 percent. And Independence Middle has reduced its discipline referrals by almost 60 percent.

Out-of-school suspension days dropped this year in Palm Beach County schools. Following are comparisons for the number of out-of-school suspension days handed out in the first 37 weeks of the 2011-2012 school year vs the same period in the 2012-2013 school year.
