For the second time in three years, the Palm Beach County School Board is taking a look at merging its school police force with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
The board, in a surprise move, on Wednesday took an informal vote to ask the sheriff’s office to make a presentation about taking over policing the county’s 185 schools.
