As some Palm Beach County students prepare to next week take the writing FCAT, school board members urged kids and adults to try to keep the high-stakes testing season in perspective.
“This is one test on one day that means more than it should,” school board member Jenny Prior Brown said during this evening’s school board meeting. She said FCAT preparations, coupled with the new security measures being put in place in light of the Newtown shootings, has created added stress in schools.
