JUPITER MIDDLE SCHOOL OF TECHNOLOGY
A volunteer cleanup day focusing on removing debris, clearing walking paths and providing access areas at a 2.25-acre natural area on campus takes place 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday. The property is being developed by science teacher Cheryl Huey to provide authentic, multi-sensory, hands-on learning for students. The Jupiter Middle School Outdoor Classroom has established community partnerships with the South Florida Water Management District, the Arthur R. Marshall Foundation for the Everglades and the Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge.
