Top officials from the Palm Beach County School District and Palm Beach State College are expected to meet next week to negotiate over a new state law that could either take a bite out of the district’s budget or make it tougher for some of its more ambitious students to get ahead.
“I hope we can come up with something,” said Chuck Shaw, the school board chairman. “I would much rather come up with something than have to cut back dual enrollment.”
