The Palm Beach County School Board is working to fill its third high-level position after the announcement that General Counsel Sheryl Wood is leaving for a job in the private sector.
Wood was hired by the school district in June 2011 after working as general counsel for the South Florida Water Management District for eight years. She took over from Bruce Harris, who asked to be stepped down to a lower position as senior counsel for the district.
