A judge on Wednesday said he was open to allowing Wellington polo mogul John Goodman to visit his dying mother while he awaits a retrial on DUI manslaughter charges.
At a hastily called emergency hearing, Palm Beach County Circuit Judge Jeffrey Colbath said that as long as attorneys on both sides of Goodman’s case can agree on the details, the International Polo Club Palm Beach founder — who is under house arrest on $4 million bond — can travel on a commercial flight back to his native Houston with four Sheriff’s deputies in tow.
