Goodman judge won’t throw out statement to deputies immediately after DUI manslaughter crash

A judge Thursday ruled that jurors in Wellington polo club founder John Goodman’s upcoming DUI manslaughter retrial will get to hear statements Goodman made to deputies after the 2010 crash that killed Scott Patrick Wilson.

Goodman was trying to get Chief Circuit Judge Jeffrey Colbath to throw out the statements, and attorneys on both sides of the case argued the matter in front of him in a hearing earlier this week.
