The owner of a golf course in suburban Boca Raton has sued Palm Beach County, alleging that a nearby county water treatment plant is drawing too much water from the ground and causing the link’s lakes to run dry.
County officials on Monday denied the allegations, saying design flaws with the course, and not the water treatment plant, are to blame for the dry lakes.
