Palm Beach County School District IG accuses Bak MSOA teachers of using ‘insider’ information to give kids leg up in audition process

A side business run by several Bak Middle School of the Arts teachers gave potential students “insider” information for the highly competitive audition process to get into the arts magnet school last year, an investigation by Palm Beach County School District Inspector General Lung Chiu claims.

But district officials say they found out about the issue and made changes in time to protect the integrity of the West Palm Beach school’s auditions for next school year.
