Steven Barnes, the man who authorities say was behind the wheel of the pickup truck that struck and killed a 3-year-old girl Monday in Lake Worth, previously had his license permanently revoked and had been arrested six times on drunken driving charges, according to law enforcement records.
Palm Beach County Sheriff’s investigators are working to determine whether Barnes lost control of the truck because of a medical condition or if he was impaired.
