The owners and operators of a luxury high-rise on Okeechobee Boulevard have been accused of discriminating against blacks who were seeking to buy units in a tower that forms part of the southern gateway to the city’s downtown.
In the lawsuit filed Monday in U.S. District Court, the Fair Housing Center of the Greater Palm Beaches said black testers who were sent to South Tower CityPlace were treated differently than whites.
