Former South Bay commissioner Linda Johnson has been convicted of violating the state’s Sunshine Law and fined $500 for her role in a backroom deal with the beleaguered town’s former city manager.
Palm Beach County Circuit Judge Karen Miller on Friday found that Johnson violated the law that requires elected officials to conduct the public’s business in public. Johnson faced a maximum 60-day jail sentence.
