UNLAWFUL DISCHARGE OF FIREARM
Two 22-year-old men were arrested and taken to the county jail on charges stemming from a gun fired in the 6000 block of West Glades Road.
Two men shoplifted 20 Burberry shirts with a total value of $2,000 from a store in the 5800 block of West Glades Road. The pair got away in a black Dodge Magnum.
Police arrested a 21-year-old man after he tried to steal $425 worth of clothing from a store in the 5700 block of West Glades Road. He was taken to the county jail.
While a resident was being distracted by two individuals, a third entered his home in the 4900 block of Northwest Fourth Avenue and stole $25,000 worth of jewelry.
A backpack containing a computer tablet was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 20800 block of St. Andrews Boulevard. There was no sign of forced entry.
A laptop computer was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 6100 block of Via Laguna Lane.
Someone ransacked an unlocked vehicle in the first block of Forest Hills Lane.
An employee of a business in the 5800 block of West Glades Road was arrested after an internal investigation showed he had given himself a fraudulent refund.
A tire was flattened on a vehicle in the 5500 block of Northwest Second Avenue.
BOYNTON BEACH POLICE
Police went to the Intracoastal Waterway in the 1600 block of South Federal Highway to investigate a report of an intoxicated woman reported to have fallen in. They found a man and woman in the water. Both refused officers’ requests to get out. The woman said she was not going to comply and taunted police to jump in and get her. Eventually she got out of the water. Police discovered the man in the water had hit his head, and he was too intoxicated to respond to commands. A boat from the Ocean Ridge Police Department was employed to rescue the man who was taken to a hospital. The woman, who tried to interfere with rescue operations, was arrested.
Coins were taken from unlocked vehicles in the 200 and 700 blocks of Northeast 12th Avenue.
Someone smashed a window on a vehicle in the 2900 block of South Greenleaf Circle. A GPS, phone charger and coin purse were stolen.
Stereo equipment and a garage door opener were taken from a locked vehicle in the 1300 block of Asbury Way.
A man was arrested after he caused a disturbance at a restaurant in the 4700 block of North Congress Avenue. The man, who also resisted arrest, was taken to the county jail.
BATTERY ON HEALTH CARE WORKER
A 55-year-old woman was arrested after she kicked and punched two members of the staff at a facility in the 2800 block of South Seacrest Boulevard. She was taken to the county jail.
DELRAY BEACH POLICE
A 26-year-old man was arrested in the 200 block of East Atlantic Avenue after he was found in possession of crack cocaine, a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
A man’s fanny pack was stolen while he was sleeping in the first block of South Ocean Boulevard.
A motorcycle in the 2700 block of West Atlantic Avenue was stripped of its plastic body and all electronic parts.
A man’s wallet was stolen from the counter of a business in the 400 block of West Atlantic Avenue.
An unlocked Trek bicycle was taken from outside a residence in the 100 block of Northeast 11th Street.
Someone stole a blender from a store in the 1200 block of West Linton Boulevard.
A man had four large boxes of his belongings in front of his residence in the 2200 block Spring Harbor Drive. Before the shipping service arrived to pick up the boxes, they were stolen.
A man’s backpack was stolen while he was sleeping in a park in the 800 block of Northeast First Street.
Cellphone chargers were taken from the center console of a vehicle in the 1600 block of Linton Lake Drive.
A gold Rolex watch valued at $45,000 and cash were stolen from a boat in the 400 block of Commodore Circle.
An unknown man exposed himself to women in a pool area in the 1100 block of East Atlantic Avenue.
