Mayors, county commissioners, a congresswoman and a state attorney pledged to prevent gun violence in America at a rally Thursday, but it was the people affected by violence who moved a mostly sympathetic audience of about 75 people.
“Gun violence is devastating,” said Angela Williams of West Palm Beach, who has had 10 relatives either killed or injured from gun violence. “Your life is never the same after you lose a loved one.”
